How Aurora Lotto Works

Select Numbers

Choose 6 numbers from 1 to 49. You can select your own lucky numbers or use our Quick Pick feature for a random selection generated by our certified algorithm.

The Draw

Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday evening. Six main numbers and one bonus number are drawn at random to determine the winners across multiple divisions.

Results

Results are published immediately after verification. Check our Results page to see if your numbers match the winning combination.

Winning Conditions & Prize Divisions

Prizes are awarded based on how many numbers you match. The more numbers you match, the higher the prize division.

Division 3 5 Main Numbers 1 in 55,492

Draw Time & Payouts

Draw Time & Schedule

Aurora Lotto draws occur twice weekly, on Wednesday and Saturday nights at approximately 10:30 PM EST. Ticket sales close exactly one hour prior to the draw time. Any purchases made after the cutoff will be entered into the next scheduled draw.

Jackpots and Rollovers

If the Division 1 prize is not won, the jackpot funds roll over to the next draw, increasing the estimated prize pool. This continues until a winner matches all 6 main numbers.

Additional Prize Divisions

A percentage of the total prize pool is allocated to lower divisions. Even if you do not win the jackpot, matching as few as 2 numbers plus the bonus can result in a cash prize or free play entry.

Play Responsibly

19+ Only. Aurora Lotto is strictly for adults aged 19 and over located in eligible Canadian provinces.

Lottery games are a form of entertainment, not a reliable way to make money. The odds of winning the top prize are extremely low. Please set a budget and stick to it. If gambling is affecting your life negatively, please seek help from local support organizations.
